Job description
Responsibilities:
– Provide therapy services to patients in a hospital setting, specializing in medical imaging, pediatrics, and critical care.
– Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
– Administer therapeutic interventions and techniques to improve patient outcomes.
– Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.
– Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
– Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely.
– Educate patients and their families on therapy goals, techniques, and home exercises.
– Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Therapy or related field.
– Valid state license or certification as a Therapist.
– Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
– 1 -2 years hand therapist experience
Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with ICU and critical care procedures.
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
– Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
